1.3 Plan to Inspire

One of the key elements of business value is having a business that is inspirational to staff, clients, potential investors and of course the business owner.  Most business owner’s start off the idea of Freedom; Financial Freedom, Time Freedom, Freedom to choose their destiny and Freedom to do what they love.  Most these things may inspire the business owner however they are unlikely to inspire staff, clients or investors.  Coming up with an inspiring vision is not easy for most people, however if you follow a process, it will evolve over time.  In chapter 1.2 we evaluated our personal and entrepreneurial strengths which is the basic for creating an inspiring vision.

We all have a unique combination of experience, education, passion and motivation.  By identifying and combining these we will start to uncover our true purpose.  This is a process that evolves over time and may take many years, however as you go down this path, you will become inspired by your future and being inspired is the first step to being able to inspire others.
